OTBC helps entrepreneurs start companies by providing incubation services, including mentoring, office space, workshops, gigabit internet access, and networking/introductions. These services are provided in 3 programs:
- OTBC incubator residency
- Beaverton $100,000 Startup Challenge
- Virtual Incubation Program
All early-stage growth startups are invited to apply for residency at OTBC. After reviewing the application and meeting with the team, OTBC will offer residency to the applying startup if OTBC believes that the OTBC services would benefit the startup (see OTBC Services below). Residents pay rent for their affordable office space, and receive the OTBC services described below at no additional cost. Apply now to become a resident.
OTBC/Beaverton $100,000 Startup Challenge
Starting in 2016, the City of Beaverton, the West Side Startup Fund and OTBC worked together to create the Beaverton $100K Startup Challenge. The Challenge is an annual program in which the city and the Westside Startup Fund each contribute $50,000 to create a seed fund to support $20,000 investments each year in a small number of startups. The goal is to help startups kick-start their business with an investment, coaching, mentoring and other services from the OTBC. Learn more about the Beaverton $100,000 Startup Challenge.

We encourage OTBC residents meet with an OTBC mentor at least every two weeks. Mentoring from OTBC’s group of experienced executives and resident CEO covers a broad range of topics, depending on where the start-up is today, and what help is needed to get to the next level. Mentoring topics include:
- Validating your market and business model
- Setting up your company
- Recruiting founders
- Building a team
- Marketing and Sales strategy
- Protecting intellectual property
- Fund your startup
In addition to receiving advice from the OTBC coaching team, Resident Members benefit from OTBC’s large extended network. OTBC can provide introduction to potential partners, Board members, founders, employees, and investors. With a strong team of coaches and a large network of contacts, OTBC helps Members develop solid plans, meet milestones, and expand their network.
We also encourage residents to take advantage of our frequent OTBC seminars and workshops. In addition to great learning opportunities, these are always excellent venues for meeting other entrepreneurs, as well as mentors and investors.
A Professional Image for your Startup
The home office is certainly affordable – but having professional-looking office space, with a staffed reception and conference rooms for meetings helps your startup project a professional image. That increases confidence in partners, customers, and investors. And with OTBC residence, you have a shipping address with a staffed reception to receive your packages.
Convenient Location, Free parking, and 24/7 Access
